4 hours of direct sunlight is sufficient for most CPs. They might overheat in the equator though

Mine are under lamps also, we get about 7-8 hours a day(and its always clouded).

@fattytuna: I put my drosera today under direct sunlight for about 4 hours and it is still not dewing yet :-(

Btw how do you differentiate between T-5 light bulb with T-8 lightbulb?

Nope, and regardless, you're not spreading it on top of the plant but over the soil where the algee grows. altough it does seem more like mold than alge...


*cinnamon dries up the aglee thus killing it, it has no natural poisons of it's own.
