I am a newbie to Nepenthes but bought either an XXS or XS size baby a few months ago. Currently growing inside the house with other baby plants I bought from them and it's growing well.

Looks like you added perlite to the pure sphagnum from the PP packing material. How's the quality of the spagnum that PP provides?

its still in the box so i can't tell you. when in doubt use what you know is good. =p

but i will say this its the 1st plant i have gotten from anywhere with shipping damages. look on the leaf directly under the quarter, not a big deal but it is damage on a plant so small it could be 100% protected with out much effort. i read reviews of people that got things like severed roots and such fatal to such small nepenthes, and were just stuck with it. i am glad that didn't happen to me.

What a stellar plant! Looks like it really got the best of both parents. The matte red body with striped peristome is kind of unusual and so pretty.
