I was just going to water my N. Ventrata and I notice this:
Seems that the lid was smaller...


Is it something bad that this happens???

That's a common deformity which I'm not fully aware of the cause of (though there's probably many.) Basically the lid stops developing while the pitcher continues, so the lid is too small to cover the entire mouth. Sometimes it will result in basically no lid at all. It's nothing to worry about though.
