I got " Better Grow Orchid moss" and I was wondering if I can grow my n ventricosa and n lady luck in it. Also I was wondering if I can grow them in just the sphagnum moss not the orchid bark mix.

You're going to get widely varying answers here. Nepenthes media will always be based upon your conditions, so the only way to know what works best will be to experiment. 100% LFS tends to be better in brighter light and drier conditions. Most easy-to-grow Nepenthes should be fine with it as long as you water judiciously, but the more exacting species need more drainage. For your purposes, you should be fine.

You could always mix some perlite in to help loosen the soil up. All my Nepenthes are in 50/50 LFS/perlite.

I grow my ventricosa and miranda in Better Gro... All of my plants in fact. Just make sure you soak it and rinse it with safe water first. Good luck and happy growing!
