VFT leaf pulling "setup"

I pulled a very nice leaf with a bit of ryzome attached and I planted it and made a little setup. Is it okay and does the leaf look alive/good? I want to leave the light on for 8 hours, from 9 am to 5 pm.

It looks good. Keep it damp. What kind of light is that? My only concern is that it might get too hot.

Thank you very much! I will put a thermometer in the bag.

Update:
Is it normal for the leaf pulling to be black? It still has some yellow in the middle. I wipe the condensed water off the bag every day to let more light through.

I think that the soil is bad. It probably is mineral burn. :(

Nope, all good, do not disturb the leaf, it is normal for it to turn black, cut off the black parts and wait.

Oh ok. Thank you very much :D ! How long would it take until it grows into a new plant?

It still has some yellow on it, do I cut the trap part and leave the rest of the leaf? Or do I just cut the whole leaf? When it all gets black, does it still need light?
Thanks!

Just cut the trap part. It still needs light.

Thank you! What are the chances of it growing into a plant?

Probably a few months or sooner.

It depends on how much of the rhizome was attached. The more rhizome, the faster it will strike.
