I've read online that it's ok to manually feed VFTs freeze-dried bloodworms, but when I tried to feed several traps with rehydrated bloodworms and made sure the traps sealed properly, the traps would ooze black liquid from the edge the next day, and all but one of those traps died, I'm I doing it wrong? also it's confusing to see some traps catching big prey and digest them with no issue while other healthy and relatively new traps die after catching a small bug(all the prey are flying insects like flys or bees), any information on this matter is much appreciated
also, I'm currently growing my VFTs under 2 LED panels(45W each, 90W total), at 7in distance, my plants seem to be losing green and turning yellow, yet the stocks of the leaves where it comes up from the ground are turning purple, which per my research is due to excess light, these conflicting symptoms had me scratching my head. I was wondering if anyone has any helpful info on this issue
thanks for any input or help
