Hello I semi recently bought a flytrap and I fed it a ant like 2 and a half weeks ago and it still hasn’t opened back up? Also I set my flytrap one day outside to get some sun and a trap cuaght some bug with wings and i think the bug stung it bc it first started out as this little brown hole near the insects abdomen and now my the trap is dying any suggestions of what I should do about these concerns or tips ? They can take some time to digest. It probably caught a bug that chewed the trap. Also keep it outside.

Traps can only reopen 3-4 time. It takes a lot of energy to open/close. the plant gets energy from sun light, if its not outside in full sun it could be energy starved.
