So what year did they start TCing vfts?

I'm not sure, but I think it's fairly recent. Probably sometime in the 80s or 90s?

this is an old post. But I am still interested in these Native plants. I know the fly trap store has a few vfts from NC that were available at one point. It would be nice to own a Carolina Red Traps or a Rehder Giant or something from Green Swamp or I saw 1 from Orton Plantation for sale.
It would be nice to own a legally harvested and cloned nc vft. (mostly because I'm from nc) but maybe all venus fly traps are originally from nc?
