California Carnivores used to sell Utricularia smithiana which was mistakenly identified as U. heterosepala. Has anyone's plant flowered? I have had mine for over 4 years and not seen it flower once. If you have had yours flower after you got it could you say what conditions it needs to flower and maybe post pictures if you have them.

I also changed the post name after discovering a stalk on my plant. I have had it for 4 years and it decides to flower only after I ask for help lol.

My plant started a flower stalk recently. I can't help you because I don't know what caused it but I can tell you it's growing conditions. It is growing outside sitting in water which reaches just velow the soil. Here is a picture.
