I'm wondering if any of you with pots of utrics have ever seen springtails in the media? I am just curious if the traps are big enough to catch springtail larvae (I think they are, even for small species like U. sandersonii).

I once saw many springtails in my mini bog garden, until I planted a U. Sandersonii in it. Now I see nothing but dirt and leaves. So yes, they are big enough to catch springtail larvae.

Interesting! Based on the size of the larvae and the traps that I can see peeking out of the peat, I think they would be too. Thank you for sharing your observations.
