Haha, that's great! Let me know when you will need the order list and the payment. I will reread their website again, maybe add a couple more, but won't be too many. Thanks!

CITES payment would be good as soon as possible, but I don't know how many people are actually ordering them.

Let's say this - everyone who's onboard needs to send me their list by Monday next week, and anyone who's ordering CITES plants needs to PM me ASAP (cutoff on Saturday). That way I can send out the split amount to people who are interested.

As a reminder, the permits needed for CITES species total $114, so that's the amount which will be split up. I'm not ordering any CITES plants but since it looks like there won't be that many who are, I'll pitch in too.

@Benurmanii : i'm not sure they'll even be here by then, but if you need me to I can hold on to them. If it's only like 5 days before you get back though I probably won't pot them up, just give them some light and moisture. If it's more than that I can put them in APS, perlite, sand, or a mix of the above. I don't have any of the more specific ping soil ingredients like gypsum or crushed coral (and I'm all out of vermiculite).

@HeliamphoraWalnut : I think you actually asked this earlier in the thread. :p I can hold onto them. If you're getting super ultra highland stuff I can't really provide the "correct conditions: (since I just have a normal HL chamber, goes down to like ~ 58F) but otherwise it should be fine.

One last note - I will not be applying for the CITES permit until the payments are in. This is because if someone decides to pull out last moment, it would be pretty bad for me since I'm not getting CITES plants and unfair for the rest of the people who have to pay more than expected.

By the way, just as a clarification the amount of shipping you pay will be proportional to the size of your order. So for example if the order is 200 plants and you ordered 25 plants, you would pay (25/200) = 1/8 of the shipping. Phytosanitary is split equally, since it's 1 per order regardless of size.

I would really like to get P. ionantha, which is unfortunately listed under CITES Appendix I, so it will require paperwork. I will not get it unless 2 or 3 other people decide to get CITES plants, as I don't want to pay the whole burden myself.

Would love to get in on this, here is a list of what I would like, and I would love a quote on what all of my portion of the fees will amount to.

1 x Utricularia aff. livida {Marojey, Madagascar}
1 x Utricularia fulva
1 x Utricularia livida {blue flw., Durban, SA}
1 x Utricularia nephrophylla {pink flower}
1 x Utricularia reniformis {small form}
1 x Utricularia sandersonii {large flower}

Hello!
I'm extending the time on this to next Wednesday, for both people ordering CITES stuff and not. I called USDA earlier and they said that some appendix II species actually don't need the import permit, but that the CITES specialist wasn't in until next week.

Hello,

The previous calculations on the permits are indeed correct, we're going to need all of them.
I'm extending this again to Monday next week as well, since processing is taking some time.

Tomorrow I'll tally up everyone we have right now and do some estimates of how the price is splitting up.
