Well fish flakes are actually made of fish so that works, too. I'm not sure if they'll have the same growth effects as bloodworms. I'm tempted to try daphnia in there as well, but I don't want to risk overloading a plant so I'll give it time.

The ants were horrible, they taste nice at first but the aftertaste is really sharp
The mealworms were really tasty, they taste a bit like crisps
I would definetly eat them again

Hi,
I have some sundews specifically Drosera Spatulata, drosera multifida, and drosera scorpioides. I was wondering if you could feed them freeze dried bloodworms from a local pet store such as petco. If so, how do you go about feeding them to the sundews. I read that you guys were feeding them by crushing up the bloodworms but how? Do you crush them to a fine particles and place them on the drosera? or can i just place a full bloodworm onto the leaves?
Thank you so much for the help.

Sure can! Soak them up and then just place it onto the leaves. Pretty straightforward. Crushing will only be necessary with the very small leaves.

I feed my Drosera's rehydrated FDBW that is no bigger than the leaf.

Hey I got this idea about bloodworms yesterday and now I see, it's pretty ordinary. And I thought it was my new invention
