my venus flytrap caught something. and a few days later this.. happened..
:shock:
(side note: when a trap opens after closing by mistake, it just dies off)

It also needs more sunlight. A trap is more likely to die after eating if it hasn't had enough sun.

yea i just recently placed my vft under a 10w cool daylight lamp. should be good i guess

Assuming you can, try and grow it outside in full sun. That will always lead to the best results. Don't just throw it outside though. Expose it slowly to the sunlight by giving it a few hours at first, and increasing it from week to week.
