A friend of mine has this death cube rescue nepenthes. It was doing well for a while but now is turning yellow from the crown down. What are some of the possible causes?

All new to me, but I thought in general "yellowing" was too much or not enough water....hopefully someone else more qualified can chime in.

It looks like it's sunburnt in my opinion, but I thought yellowing of the leaves dealt with not enough light. Did he ever move its location and it didn't have time to adapt?
