Some of my non-carnivorous plants on a neighboring shelf had a fresh outbreak of thrips, and I have some carnivorous plants nearby. While I don’t see any damage yet, I am keen to apply some sort of preventative for now, any clues?

So far I’ve wiped down the Nepenthes leaves with a mixture of neem oil and Castile soap mixture, seen mixed reviews online, but no idea at all for the drosera and pings. Wondering if there was a semi-gentle preventative out there before I go in with Monterey (sp?) take down garden spray, but I’m afraid it’ll damage the plants too.

BioAdvanced 3-In-1 Insect, Disease & Mite Control works okay on every carnivorous plant I've tried it on without any harm so far. Use as directed.

Thank you both @panman @huntsmanshorn!

I can definitely find the Captain Jack's dead bug brew! And unfortunately the bioadvanced can't be shipped to my area (I believe it's banned in MA rip)

The Capt Jack's definitely works for thrips. I'm going to have a bottle on hand next spring and do some preemptive spraying as soon as the pitchers start to emerge, and continue the treatment every week or so. Last time I waited too long and the damage was already done.

Did you have any damage other than deformed pitchers? Something is eating my plants and it may be thrips but it is on older leaves.
