Hi there I just wanted to thank you so much for donating the N. boschiana "BE-3643" x sanguinea "Orange" seeds. They’re my first and only seeds to sprout from the seed bank so far. (I had earlier ones that I should have planted or stratified, but I got behind and decided to plant yours first which I’m very happy about).
I have 11 in all and waiting to see if I get more due to them being a little funny for me. Example is one cell in a small growing container I got from Temu has 4 sprouts, but there’s only one other sprout in the entire container lol. But I’m very psyched because I truly didn’t expect to get anything after reading the trouble a lot of growers have with Nepenthes so I’m just ridiculously excited about these.
There is one that is growing in a little cavity in the LFSM that you can’t see. It’s kinda extra surprising since I didn’t realize to grind up the LFSM more, and I probably should have microwaves everything, but I think it’s also kinda neat to see the stuff growing with the Nepenthes. I even have a couple really tiny pitchers on them
I am hoping to be able to try more nepenthes seeds in the future.
