Hey all,

So I've been growing a pot of live spagmoss that came back to life through spores that I got at the store. It seems to grow really well on my pots that are outside, but the ones I have inside under my Yescom225 lights are turning black on the tips.

The moss is put on top of a layer of peat moss. Is the peat moss putting acid into the plant, or is the growlight too strong for the moss?

Should I just remove the dead growth and just keep the top layer misted? Or just water from the top and get it soaking wet from here on out?

If you top water the spag will be more happy. it is just adjusting. the less humidity and more heat/light the shorter it will grow. It can take full sun outside well mine can as long as it really humid but when fall hits and the air drys it looks like yours.
