Say that fast 3 times!!! Any how Pics are of the D. Madagascaran and S.Flava Chocolate Top I got from the seed bank in Aug. and after cold stratting the Flava and having to plastic bag and forget about the Drosera this is what they look like thus far. I honestly thought the madagascaran were goners. I had pulled a couple out when they came up but figured the rest were history as I did not see anything in the media. Well, I added more water and put the whole container, media and all in to a plastic bag. I left it on the second shelf of my greenhouse and forgot about it. Upon opening it up around December I noticed they were taking off. Took the pics a few days ago.

Put in cold strat Aug. 15th, Out Oct 7th. so 6 months 1 week.

I would not recommend that type of soil for germinating VFT's, drosera or sarrs. I am not certain about neps as I do not grow them. Just in my experience. Once they are established it should be OK. I use finely chopped LFSM for germinating and I have always had good luck with my seeds.
