I made a "homemade formula" last summer because my plants got some pests, then the decline carried on maybe even more for a little while before weird things started to happen.. drosera doubled or tripled themselves, flytrap double trap on one leaf, curly leaves etc. They all survived at the end but now I have them (some) indoor and they are flowering.

Those are some very impressive flowers!!! Very pretty!!!! But, you do know that the flowers are sapping a lot of energy from your plants, don't you?

By the way, with double traps, all the big flowers, doubling and tripling in size...do you live close to Three Mile Island? Been using the local water?

Might I ask what pests you had an issue with? And what your “homemade formula” was?

I definietly had aphid issues but even those plants i havent seen any on started to grow weird. I made some mix of washing up liquid, sunflower oil, pressed garlic and water. I think that was all then i "soaked" all the plants by spraying them. Tried to avoid it tho as much as i could but didnt care much really. I was on a bit of panic. After they didnt really look great at all... but all recovered within 1-2 months i would say. Maybe earlier. Now the red spider growing a mutant trap will post pics later.
