I just chopped up my maxima into a bunch of one node cuttings. With luck they will strike over winter, and I'll have plenty to sell/trade.

Yes I forgot to mention, it's a confirmed male, so you could cross it with the be maxima if you wanted to.

Confirmed male.

I'm letting the cuttings soak for a day, I applied rooting hormone, and I'll be potting them up tomorrow.

Just curious, I’ve never done a single node cutting. What was your desire, to have more plants to sell ? If you get 100% success, then tell me your secret. I’ve often used 2, mostly 3 nodes, to give the plant the opportunity to wake up another dormant node, in the event that the first activated one has an issue…

Idk I figured there must be a defined amount of nodes that have the capability of growing, and a bunch of one node cuttings just means the ones that don't will die.

First time doing cuttings though, I wanted to maximize plants. 19 cuttings made.
