These are my first Gemae (I am sure I am spelling it wrong lol) and this is what they are doing after transplanting them. What are they doing? lol

That bottom pic definitely looks like a tap root mishap took place, but that top one simply looks like it could be going dormant.

Got these from the seed bank. I tried to be gentle when I transplanted them but I guess not gentle enough. :cry:

Generally, people don't transplant them at all. Not necessarily dying, it could be going dormant, but we will have to wait and see.

I started a pygmy from seed in a 3" deep pot. I decided it needed to be repotted but when I lifted the pot out of the tray, the tap root was already growing out the bottom. It is really only as thick as a human hair so it is next to impossible to transplant successfully.

OH NO ok I will keep that in mind. I have been leaving them alone other than to water so will see. We have also been having a lot of near and over 100 degree days here too which I am sure they dont love.
