Hi all!

Was inspired by this forum to get back into growing flytraps. The last time I owned a flytrap was about 15 years ago. I'm really amazed by how much easier it is to acquire and find information about carnivorous plants!

Anyway, I bought three flytraps that were sent bare root: a B52, a 'spider' and a 'filiform green'. They looked pretty banged up when I first got them -- leaves eating each other, small roots. I was quite worried. I repotted them into 11cm deep pots, and now I'm acclimating them under a grow light, and next month I'll move them outdoors for the winter (Paris, where winters don't often go below freezing ).

I've got two questions:
  • Did I repot them alright?
  • I got a baby plant - will it be OK going into dormancy, or should I attempt to separate it and skip dormancy?
Oh and the B52, even with messed up traps still caught a fly, which I caught on video! YouTube link: https://youtu.be/4VnvcufVB24
