Anybody know what this stuff is? It came along with a plug of Utric aureomaculata but seems to have taken over the pot. As far as ground covers, it's actually rather pretty. I just want to be sure it's not something I'd want to keep before I give up on the pot.

it seems to me that anytime you plant your CPs in mos (peat or sphagnum), they will eventually come to life and cover the top layer with a nice turf and hold in a lot of water for the plants.

when i used peat moss for my plants, it wsa just dirt brown. little did i know that rehydrating moss can bring it back to life and a month or 2 later i had nice green carpeting.
