Hello everyone it's privilege to be apart this forum and happy to add another hobby to my life.

So I have two families, it's been like a month since I got them.

I grow both inside and out. But most of the time there outside.

And I know that we are suppose to let them stay outside. Because thats how they thrive.

But in my situation the cats around here keeps messing with my traps

Already lost two beautiful traps.

So that why I keep them out in the day while I'm at work and bring in at night so the night crawler won't get to them

But most of all, their still healthy from what I see.

There sprouting traps like crazy.

There lots questions that I have since I am a newbie 😂

So everyone I was looking into growing lights, for the inside.

Which is better, the white light or purple?

i'd say the more one the blue side the more uv they'll get. yellow light causes leggy growth in sundews and wide and low leaves on vfts, so use them with other lights. red and blue lights are better in general but they make the plants have a icky color. if you can find a cool white light, meaning a blueish white, that also works.

Sound like good idea.

What you think about full spectrum lights?

The ones with red, blue and yellow

i think they'd be okay, provided that they are suplemented with sunlight. if you can give them a few hours a day, that would be best. the light it'self says to not use for more than 12 hours. most cps grow better with more light, just don't give them 24 hours a day or else they'll go kinda wacky with no night time, i've heard that only 3 hours of darkness is enough. if you could find something with a little bit more blue/uv light that would be better, but it's hard to find cheap ones. on further research, the "blue" light is actually UV-A light (with some actuall blue light) " blue (325-379nm) light" the uv range is 100nm to 400nm. i think this light would wor pretty well.
