I leave my VFT outside to get about 8 hours of direct sunlight a day. I understand that it is acceptable to feed your plant once every couple weeks. I also have read that as long as you have at least half of the traps open it is ok. My question/ problem is that for the past week my plant has caught 5 insects and has a total of 8 traps. Is it bad or harmful that it has caught so many insects in such a short period of time?

Your plant should be fine. If you're growing it outside just let it do its thing.

Thanks, didn't know if too much nutrients from the bugs would actually hurt it or not.
