Walls primed and floor leveler applied. Next step paint the walls, floor, and trim out the window and install the pocket door. Hopefully moving plants inside by the end of next week.

Getting closer every day... A couple of racks in place and my 250W mh hydro farm light fixture on a ratchet pulley system to raise and lower the lights. My highland nepenthes love this blazing sunshine and it keeps temperature around 70° ...Nighttime in the basement drops to 55-60 and if I need cooler I will open the window... :D Move in day is Sunday...Stay tuned for the tour. Thanks for following my grow room journey... I am sure there will be much tweaking...

Looks REALLY nice. I'm jealous!

I hope that floor isn't real hard wood :)

Wow your dedicated room is stunning! One question have is that the 250 mh you having over the neps in the last photo? If it is, I would raise it a fair bit or may cook your plants!

Carnigrower has a great point. Do you have a min/max thermometer you can put near your Nepenthes to see how warm it is close to that Metal-Halide fixture?

Good growing,
Mike

I try to keep the lights within 12 inches to maximize the lumens. It worked fine last winter. I will add in the cooling fan tomorrow... I followed this recommendation....
