Cons of my apartment: the AC only covers the living room, and my south-facing bedroom reached 85 degrees indoors at one point last week.
Pros of my apartment: I splurged on a N. bicalcarata and put it in the windowsill, and it didn't abort a single pitcher after getting mailed to me. It just put out its first sort-of adultish pitcher on the very first leaf it grew in its new home!

At least SOMEONE'S happy with this arrangement.
