Eric, I am really impressed by your VFTs, you have a such of success of growing them from seed. I hope my babies will look as half as yours. I have to grow my indoors though((((

I pinched out the weed and started looking for the seeds.. I was only able to see 2 well enough to know they are still shiny and black... still waiting!

I have bought what I thought were two seed grown from Matt but when they got here it turned out there a total of seven plants of different sizes. they are doing well. The teeth on some of your traps look like Christmas trees. very different and cool. They seem to grow different kinds of traps on the same plant. Some are upright and some are lower to the ground, again very cool. These are the two I got from FTC in middle August.

These are my seed grown from FTC, I have had them for about two months. They are unique in how they grow, some are upright and some hug the ground but they will really be nice after dormancy. I only ordered one but got five the first time, the second time I ordered one and got four so FTC really treated me right, I iwll buy from them next year when they have some of my wish list.

Yikes, I sowed seeds in the middle of July, and am just now posting pictures of them! I got six babies from the regular FTS mix (I forget how many seeds I planted. Probably ten-fifteen or so.) They are so adorable, I love baby venus fly traps. These guys still haven't had their first meal, they missed the boat on all the summer fruit flies we get.

My favorite baby is the one my finger is pointing too, because it is bright green, with no red pigment like the others. I also like the bottom right one, because it is the biggest and grows so fast.

Taryn :D
P.S. should I somehow make these babies go dormant? If so, how? I've tried to let my VFTs hibernate outside, but the cold weather always kills them. :(
