The Black Spot

Hi,

My flytrap's leaves dyed every once and a while (which I know they are supposed to). They blackened from the edges, and worked their way to the center of the leaf. But I have one trap that just blackened from the middle, forming a black spot and is slowly growing. Am I being just too worrysome, or is it a fungus of a sort?

I've had some do that, but mine were caused by whatever bug the trap had captured, and the trap eventually died due to it. The main culprits for me are stinkbugs and ladybugs.
It doesn't appear that you have a fungus issue, but keep an eye on it just in case. If something appears, just cut the trap off. Leave the leaf however, it will still photosynthesize for the plant.
