My expectations were exceeded once again today with more plants from Hollyhock! I got my replacement d.adelae (which i will post pics of later when it perks up) the post office delayed delivering the package for about 2 to 3 days past the expected delivery date for some reason and it was quite stressful on the plant... I have also been looking for more s. purpurea to cross with mine someday so she sent me a nice little bowl with some plantlets in it (i thought there might have been 4 or 5 in there. After seperating them all, i counted 21 of them! What a hookup! (see pic). Plus some other seeds that i had inquired about previously. All packed away very neatly! All i needed was for the USPS to cooperate. All in all every transaction we have had has always been awesome. Thanks again Hollyhock! :-)

I am so glad the plants finally arrived.. USPS is on my last nerve...
I just grabbed a "few" and packed them up. I didn't count but 21 sounds like a nice number.
You can never have too many purps..IMO...
Enjoy your seedlings while you're waiting for germination of the other seeds. :D

I figured id wait exactly 1 month later to post the d.adelae. USPS lost the package in transit and it sat for a few days longer than necessary. That week the temps here were still in the upper 90s. They finally arrived along with the other stuff and looking very rough. One month later, theyre looking pretty good. I didnt know she smuggled like 3 or 4 more into the box with the one i wanted, so that was just a bonus! Again, a big thank you!

My contribution to this thread is two D.admirabilis sp 'floating'. I also received some Capensis 'red' seeds from the beauty and the beast giveaway, three of which have already germinated in water and been transferred to my seedling tray. Thanks for being so generous hollyhock!
