Just got a TDS Meter today..
My tap water is 38ppm
de-ionised water is 0 ppm.

Is my tapwater safe to use??
I thought it would have been must higher that 39. They must filter most things out.

Ronnie.

Usually, anything under 50 ppm will be fine for your plants.

You lucky guy. Tap water with only 38 parts per million of dissolved solids is great! Where exactly do you live that has such pure water? :)

Thats why even though our water down here in Cornwall would possibly be ok from the tap (soft water area) , i buy RO water to eliminate any of the quote.
