Well, what a coincidence! Goldeneye is a beautiful butterwort, lucky you have one! A friend of mine had a few for sale but I passed for whatever reason… kind of regretting it now, and unfortunately the last I saw her Goldeneye had gotten sick.

The Andromeda doesn’t need as much light as the other two. It’s one of the few drosera that are a little sensitive to too much light so pale leaves are probably sunburned. Move it off to the side so it gets less direct light and give it high humidity until it starts putting out new, green leaves.

Looks like it's still acclimatizing, and I agree about the lighting.

Do you think setting up a little tent for it, or maybe turning down the lights some? It is in a terrarium and would be hard to move

Maybe try turning down the lights. If you want to be able to see your plant, a tent of sorts over it may not be the best idea.

Do you think if I attach a small piece of plastic over the light in that spot if it would work.

They are LED lights so they don't produce a lot of heat.

Give it a try if you’d like, though I’m concerned that there would still be a lot of light around the plant. I think the best choice would be to pot the plants separately and adjust the individual plants’ distance from the lights- like maybe moving the sundews to the side as to be out from the space directly underneath the lights.

The thing is the lights are in the back of the tank. And Andromeda is in the front of the tank. Maybe if I do turn down the lights and slowly over the next couple of weeks turn them back up.

The only other place is a window on the north side of my house, and that goes way over 4000lux

Maybe just turn them a little down. (In my limited experience) Pings don’t seem to need the brightest light in the world to grow. It shouldn’t bother the other plants too much.

ok cool, thank you so much. I will degrease the light tomorrow morning by 25% and see if that makes a difference

I’ve got a couple of terrarium bowls on my desk with nothing more than a led desk light. The small bowls have D prolifera (one of the parents of Andromeda) and sphagnum moss. The larger bowl has pinguicula and U. sandersonii, so between them it sound pretty similar to what you are doing! The pinguicula is growing on a rock to prevent it from getting waterlogged and rotting. It’s also not going to develop much leaf color with the low light but it’s happy enough to put out flowers. The utricularia is growing in the lowest, wettest area and has to compete for space with an aggressive liverwort but is also doing fine with low light and putting out flowers.

That is amazing. My ping is Goldeneye, and I got some dragon rock found a nice hole, and drilled through the bottom. I then filled it with some of the sphagnum moss, sand, and perlite. I will also sit the rock in some water that just covers the bottom. I even have a succulent garden right next to the terrarium to transfer my ping during it's dormant fase.

I also have a sandersonii, and am planing on getting a few more. I got the typical one. I named all my plants. Goldeneye is 007, Andromeda was too good to change, and the Bugs Bunny for my bladderwort.
