Hi there! So I purchased my Venus flytrap ‘Felix’ in June, since then it’s been growing well, it’s up to 27 heads. But for the past month, there has been a strange sprout growing and I’m unsure of what it is. If anyone can give me information about this, it would be much appreciated.

Its a flower stalk. You could trim it to help the plant save energy for growing new leaves, but it looks like it would've already spent quite the energy already.

It's a flower stalk. Those are buds at the top that will sprout into white flowers. I would usually not recommend letting a plant flower unless it's in optimal health, but your flower stalk is already grown almost to full size so it's probably drained all the nutrients it would drain.

What conditions are you keeping your VFT in? Indoors, outdoors? what amount of light is it being provided?
