Can this kind of sphagnum moss stop my vfts from growing, because they have been the same size since their dormancy.

Why would sphagnum moss be "made". It grows naturally.

Not the question. Does it bother my vfts?

Do you have pictures of your flytrap? And several older pictures to current day photos?

Can rust affect there growth? Their plastic trays have rust in them.

It is impossible for plastic trays to have rust on them, because rust is caused by the oxidation of iron. (unless someone has plastic trays made of iron :?)

I'm with them. I find their wording very strange. It's not 'made'. If anything, they're growing it and packaging it but that's not likely either. I took a look at it and personally I wouldn't use it. I've sphagnum moss like this before and it killed my plants. Do you have a lowered nearby? They sell orchid moss there that's good to use.

They have rust in them? Are you sure they're plastic?

A metallic object (like a metal pot) could have been sitting on the tray previously and the rust stained the plastic.

And as far as i understand Asian moss is not very good for cp's most people stick with New Zealand and Chilean Sphagnum Moss. And there is the whole China export scandal list thats longer then you would spend reading. Just trust me China is a good place to buy a cheap plastic pot for your plant, but you don't want any food products or planting media ect.

I second this, through experience. I only buy something from China if it's from a trusted brand. I have been burned wayyyy too many times. Check out the seed scams. They're usually chia seeds that you recieve.

I doubt the rust is coming from the plastic. Probably algae. Algae can come in different colors including green, and a reddish brown. Assuming the rust from another object stained the tray, it can easily be scrubbed off.
