Sphagnum moss & heat

Greetings all, i've been trying to search up about this, but haven't found much, other than sphagnum moss will burn if it gets too hot or dry

I'll be getting a small piece of sphagnum with an online order within the next few days, and i'm hoping to start producing it for eventual use with my plants

Anyway, i live in australia, not the worst part of it temperature wise, but it can still get kinda gnarly sometimes (it will go up to 30c (86f) a few times each year, and very rarely go up near, or to 40c (104f))

Anyway, would it be suitable to grow sphagnum outside in these conditions? perhaps with shade cloth or something?

here is a temperature "average" graph for my area

Yeah that will be great, maybe use shade cloth when it gets towards 40° but if not you'll be fine
