I got interested in these plants, they are air plants, meaning they don't need soil at all to survive, they can be hang, or simply put in your desk, they basically need just water, and very little too since the leaf structure provides them with water from the inside, and of course filtered sunlight:

These plants are for sale and trade:

N. lowii, preferably this plant, since it is so hard to find, I would be asking for money or a rare specie of CP, such as D. Paradoxa...etc, hard to find plants ;) :

I also have D. albino, and droseras spatulatas for trade/sale.

By the way, all of these plants are growing outside in temps of 50-30F, except the nepenthes, and they are growing wonderfully! So those that are worried about their tropical plants freezing or dying, i have proven the opposite so far, it has even gone down to 25F, and they are growing just fine, i guess the sunlight, and receiving light all day really helps! :)

Enjoy! :)

You have a great photographer's eye, JHT. Those first two photos, of the drosera and drosera flower (I guess that's what it is) are particularly nice. Thanks for posting! :D

Thanks for the comments!

And yes, the first two pics are really great.

The second pic of the flower, and the first pic is from drosera pulchella.
I took the gemmae out on te same day i took the pic, i kept like 15 or so gemmae, and the other 15 or so i share with someone from the forums!

Thanks a ton for the comments!

The pinguiculas sure look nice during this time.
About that, (Grey), I'm aware that mexican pinguiculas go dormant in relatively low temps but not really low and a dry environment, however for me is the opposite, they are awake and are producing glucose and trapping insects in this cold weather of 40F-Lower temps. compare to summer when they had the non-carnivorous leafs, and appeared dormant, i can tell they are awake now since they leaves are larger and have the glucose, while in summer they were shorter, I also think the soil was more drier in the summer months. So temp doesn't really have an effect on the growth of mexican pinguiculas but how dry or wet you keep them does. Interesting.

Any comments on this Grey?
Thanks!
:)
