I got mine from Leo Schordje at www.schordje.com . He was really helpful and has some on his website ranging from $75 to $125 and are 2-0 years from blooming. This species is easy to grow, it is just slow. I've heard something about buying a bigger plant for more money is a better deal than buying a seedling for less money. It will take many years to blooming if you buy a seedling that is worth around $40. Then you have to care for it and fertilize for many years without blooms. Seedlings also have a high die off rate if certain things aren't provided, mature plants are much tougher. And Leo has the best prices for the biggest plants around, usually vendors charge $225+ for plants that he only charges $125 for. There is also a smaller plant for sale on ebay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Paphiopedilum-s ... 53f6f41e2f

Yay! The Masdevallia Angel Tears is in spike! It will have brick red, triangular flowers, similar to Masdevallia Aquarius.

I also have some yellow slipper orchids that are native to my state, Nebraska. They are Cypripedium pubescens. Also have some pink slipper orchids that are native to Minnesota, Cypripedium reginae. They aren't blooming now but are just popping out of the ground. I'll have to take some pictures.

Just a little fact: There are orchids in every state in the U.S. and there are orchids native to every country and continent except for Antarctica. There are orchids in Alaska, Russia, Iran, Mexico, ect.
