Small red worms in water around my utricularia

by CarnivorousStu » Thu Feb 23, 2012 10:41 pm

Hi - I recently purchased some utricularia bisquamata, sandersonii and livida and and placed them in a tray of water. However, a couple of days after doing this, I have started to notice about 20 or so small red worms about the thickness of a hair. I was wondering if these were tubifex worms and why they would have been in the pots? Also would these be damaging the plants or the plants eat the worms?

They should eat the worms no problem :D
