Hi,

I've had this U. livida for about a year and was wondering if I should divide it up as the moss seems to be out-competing the plant.

If I do this, should I attempt to remove some of the moss or should I just divide the plant into 4 smaller ones?

It looks to be in need of a repot. Small leaved Utricularia tend to deplete their soil rather quickly and die back. Try to remove as much moss as possible and use new soil.
