So here are some orchids I picked up from lowes the other day. I currently have them sitting in my shade house.
These guys are big, a few inches across.
These are just over an inch across
These are the same size as the purple
You can see them sitting in the corner here... its not really as dark as the picture makes it out to be.

So they don't run away to other people that will love them more.

They are some interesting little buggers. I asked dad and he says they thrive here... its just the winters they dont like. This should help them out a bit.

They are gorgeous. I keep passing them at the store everytime I go. I think I will pick one up next time. Do they make good indoor plants?
What is the one that is red/yellow/white? Do want.

I have no idea what it is... but it was in the middle of a 10x10 platform so nobody could reach it. I crawled through all the orchids so that I could grab it because I loved it.
I don't know if they make good indoor plants, but I think they like filtered light so its quite possible. CPman knows everything there is to know, him or a few others might be of more help than I.

It looks to me like one of the many intergeneric hybrids of the oncidium/odontoglossum orchid alliance, with a strong influence of the genus miltonia (for the large lip). That's just a guess; many genera of orchids interbreed freely with other genera, and with human help there are many very complex intergeneric hybrids.
Here are some nice photos of orchids of the oncidium / odontoglossum orchid alliance.
