Hi everyone, this post is not entirely plant related but I thought a lot of plant-growers probably have snails around and would be able to help me out. I've started doing a research project on the phylogenetics of the land snail genus Mesomphix, and I'm trying to obtain as many members of each species in the genus as I can. Ideally I need around 600 by september.

If you have seen these snails where you live could you help me out and send them to me? They are found only in the eastern half of the US.

I would prefer to discuss payment in PM if that's alright.
Again, sorry if this is not entirely related to CP's but I really could use the help! I have a few CPs I can trade for them.

Here's two pictures which show what these snails generally look like.

Why anyone would want a leopard slug... Nasty buggers, they eat all types of garden plants except tomatoes.

Nice looking snails, though!
