Hello, I have 2 seedlings which are the same age +-3 days difference and akai ryu one looks like staying behind. Is that normal?

If I remember correctly, red flytrap varieties are naturally slower growing then green varieties. This is most likely normal.

I don't have a green flytrap to compare them too, but my red dragon is growing a bit slow. But yeah, something about the red coloring makes it harder to absorb light...? *shrugs*

Seedling development can vary from member to member, even from seed to seed with specific members.
Your experience WILL vary from mine, or any other members experience, even if we're all growing from the same seed pod.
Don't worry about a set timeline. As long as you're growing, go with that.

Red-leafed flytraps do grow more slowly, as previously mentioned. Also as previously mentioned, the vigor of each individual plant grown from seed can vary a lot. Just keep giving good care and enjoy their maturation process :)
