One day I was checking up on my plants, and while taking a read on the temperatures, I discovered that the my Drosera Spatulata seeds and my Venus Flytrap flower stalk cutting were at around 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37 C) during the afternoon . The pots were in small plastic containers with plastic wrap on them to keep the humidity up, so I'm guessing that the direct sunlight from the western windowsill that they were growing in must have caused them to heat up like that. I panicked a little, and took the plastic wrap off and started fanning the pots off until they got back down to 85 degrees (29 C). I'm wondering now, did I cook my seeds and cuttings? The flower stalk looks to be okay but I'm not sure about the seeds. All feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
