These traps are getting drinks of Maxsea until it makes functional traps again or croaks. Regarding the bloodworms, I have a theory. I crush up a bunch of them and rehydrate with Maxsea. ...

Any insects will improve growth of flytraps of course. When grown properly outside they will get all they need. I have found that using fertilizers do NOT help at all. Including Maxsea. I notice ZERO difference with Maxsea.

These seedlings are about 3 months old. Would you folks attempt to feed the with a drop of Maxsea or would you hold off until they got a little bigger? Maybe wait until they get a little bigger so they could survive any algae growth? [(Rokko x boschiana) x veitchii] ...

Bloody slow. I started using Maxsea at 1/4 teaspoon/gallon and after a month I'm seeing plenty of new growth "buds" and such, but none are getting any length to them. I keep plenty of water in the tray and it gets a lot of light, but not getting much growth.
Perhaps I have a slow-growing variant?

The pitcher should be dry. The hood is there to keep the rain out. Try some Grow More Sea Grow fertilizer (same thing as MaxSea, only less expensive) diluted to 1/4 strength. Half-fill 2 or 3 pitchers every month. The plant doesn't want water in the pitchers, so it absorbs it, and ...

... bugs, every leaf will grow a new pitcher. I don't suggest stuffing an indoor plant with bugs, they stink when decomposing. But filling one with Maxsea mixed at 1/4 tsp per gallon once per week will likely prompt a new pitcher now and then.
