Hello,
I got this pitcher plant from a nursery today. I am wondering if this plant is healthy and how to care for this plant. Does it have similar care as Venus Fly Traps.

Yes. But Sarracenia can sit in water, unlike flytraps...

It looks like a pitcher plant that is just waking up from dormancy. From what I can see, it looks fine.

Thanks for the help. Two more question. Can I cut all the dead/dried growth off the plants and do a fresh repot?

Sure, the dead growth is dead. clear it away to get more light to the rhizome and developing pitchers.
Unless the media is degraded or the plant otherwise seems to be underperforming, leave it be, a repot isn't necessary. Is there something going on that makes you think a repot is in order?

There are some weeds growing in the soil and I don’t know if the current soil is the right soil.

the weeds make me think the peat is breaking down.

If I picked that up, I would repot it into 50:50 peat / perlite. In a tall pot and place it in trey of water in full direct sun.
