Hi,

I recently bought some Venus Fly Trap soil from the store here at flytrapcare.com. I planted some seeds I also bought at flytrapcare.com in the soil by following the instructions in the How to Grow Venus Fly Traps from Seed tutorial. I missed the part where it said to rinse the soil 4 times, and I have already planted my seeds. Is it important to rinse the soil if I bought it from flytrapcare.com? If that is so, how do I go about rinsing the soil if my seeds are already planted?

I could not find much if anything about rinsing medium that already has seeds in it using an advanced search on the forums.

Any help anyone could give would be much appreciated.

Generally speaking from the sowing of seeds until transplanting from the germination chamber requires some six weeks. This being the case and if you are planning on transplanting your seedlings to another container from the germination chamber, then you should not worry about not having rinsed your media.
