I've been concentrating on Sundews and Pings since I lost almost all my VFTs over the last two years. But I thought I should have at least a couple to keep my hand in. Anyhow, I found this clone. It kinda grabs you by the ears and screams "RED!" in your face...

@hungry carnivores It's called "Red Sangria". I haven't seen an adult, so I have no idea how big it's going to get.

I'm glad someone else has the clone. I'm curious how well it colors up in real sunlight. My full spectrum lights seem to really bring out the red. (There was a previous discussion about the lights, if anybody's interested: http://www.flytrapcare.com/phpBB3/post2 ... ml#p226837 )

The Red Onyx flytraps look great, too. Mine are burgundy all over. I'll try to get home before dark tomorrow and take a picture.

Yeah man, that'd be awesome! I also purchased some stuff from CCCP. Mainly some cephalotus but I did get an Alien VFT for like 8 bucks lol. Those red onyx looked really good but I'd like to see what they look like as they get mature. His were the size of a quarter  The Alien finally hit it's stride over the last couple of weeks. It's really liking the Florida summer

So, I finally got a chance to take some pics of my red cultivars:

Some of them are showing more green than usual because they've been catching bugs and growing fast in my usual summertime heat and humidity.
