Nice! Thanks for letting me know. That sure is a nice freebie! I look forward to seeing all of your plants progress, but that one certainly looks like a stunner.

That seems like a really interesting field of marketing, and a very useful one as well! I studied biology with a strong concentration on ecology and chemistry.

Awesome plants!
I have ordered a Sarracenia flava var rubricorpora (Apalachicola National Forest, Florida),I want to know (if you know about it) whether the inner lid of my Sarracenia will be yellow or dark red or maroon(whatever you say)?

It's been almost three month since I did a update on my entire collection.

This is about 80% of my collection and I hope you guys enjoy !!!!

I wanted to take more shots of the entire plant this time around.

Hrm, I'm pretty sure your 'Burgundy' is actually 'Burgundy' x 'L' cross. The cv. looks different then what you have. The cv. should have a yellow slightly wavy lid, with red veining. A highly constricted neck with a rugelii like blotch. Along with the burgundy tube.

Are you talking about the third plant from the top? That plant was from Mike Wang and he wrote S. flava var. rubricorpora ‘Burgundy’ on the label. SOOOOOOOO.......... maybe there's an L at the end I missed. I'll check the label tomorrow morning.

Haha, no not usually, I just happen to go through your thread and noticed something wasn't right with that ID that you mentioned earlier.

The cv. is quiet nice. Probably my favorite flava. Grows slow as molasses though.

Ya, i went back to Mike's sale page and was like oh woah that doesn't look like my old label at all. Although I have to say the one with yellow lid looks WAYYYY BETTER.

But ya this one is a slow grower.
