My VFT seedlings usually receive between 2-4 hours of direct sunlight in the morning, and when the sun no longer shines directly on them, I put them under an artificial light for about another 7 hours. Is this ok, or is it better for them to have just one light source?

It's better to get more light then less light, many people use artificial lighting aswell as sunlight

I would use all artificial light, about 14-16 hours a day
