I just got my sundew grow kit in the mail and it is mandatory to put in in the fridge for 8 weeks before trying to germinate them?

I've only done 4 weeks with Drosera and I have a great germination rate.

well, depending on what type of sundew it is.. you can't really put it in the fridge cause if its a tropical sundew you'll kill it
